| An artist since the age of 12, Linda’s stunning one-of-a-kind pieces are inspired by the landscapes and varied botanical environment that surrounds her rural Southwest home and studio. Native Tucsonan Linda Allyn received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona in 1989, with a major in Art History and a minor in Ceramics. She interned at Philabaum Glass Gallery and Studio, learning every aspect of glass art production, art sales, and marketing. Married to fellow glass art master Richard Hornby, the two created Desert Fire Glassworks, LLC in Tubac, Arizona. After three years in Tubac, the firm evolved into Fire Ranch Glassworks and moved into a larger studio in Catalina, Arizona, just north of Tucson. |

| Linda's
work reflects the love of art and magic that she first felt as a child. Her
stunning sandblasted images of landscapes and botanical elements are meticulous
in their color and detail. She also creates traditional vases, vessels, and
sculptures.
Linda Allyn’s work is included in the Loveland High Plains Arts Council Corporate Collection. Her pieces have been exhibited at the Tucson Museum of Art and at galleries and juried shows throughout the United States. |
